An industry leading insurance client has recently gone through a large merger which has led to lots of transformation and change across operations and technology. The organisation has moved to a agile/ product environment however there is still elements of waterfall in delivery.

As the Delivery Manager you will be reporting directly into the head of Delivery. You will be responsible for the finance squad and all external suppliers. This will be an externally facing role constantly pushing and managing Stakeholders/ suppliers. Additionally, you will be at all committee meetings providing updates and sharing technical knowledge.

Experience required:

  • Delivered Finance Projects
  • Effective Delivery – big/complex technical projects in agile and waterfall.
  • Strong technical understanding – full software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent Supplier Management
  • Stakeholder Management/Engagement/Negotiation
  • Leadership

Desirable:

  • Worked in Insurance/Financial sector

Lead Developer London-Hybrid Up to £75,000 DOE Insurance, C# .Net I am exclusively working with a leading member-owned insurance organisation who are on an exciting path of growth and development. As part of this, they are looking to bring on a Lead Developer to work with their Digital Member Services team, who will contribute to a variety of exciting digital-based projects for members and customers. As the Lead Developer, your day-to-day will be: Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on hands-on software development in a tech stack including C# .Net, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps You’ll work in a cross-functional Product team, working in an Agile way Around 20% of your time will be spent managing and mentoring 2 developers in the team The organisation are looking to create a ‘Development Pratice’ to ensure consistent excellence in software development across the whole team- they’d love you to get involved in this!
