I am exclusively working with a leading member-owned insurance organisation who are on an exciting path of growth and development. As part of this, they are looking to bring on a Lead Developer to work with their Digital Member Services team, who will contribute to a variety of exciting digital-based projects for members and customers.
As the Lead Developer, your day-to-day will be:

  • Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on hands-on software development in a tech stack including C# .Net, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
  • You’ll work in a cross-functional Product team, working in an Agile way
  • Around 20% of your time will be spent managing and mentoring 2 developers in the team
  • The organisation are looking to create a ‘Development Pratice’ to ensure consistent excellence in software development across the whole team- they’d love you to get involved in this!
Experience in the following would be beneficial for this Lead Developer role:
  • Strong expertise in .Net framework, C#, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Experience mentoring or managing a small team
  • Experience within an insurance organisation, or within marine/shipping/logistics, would be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a Lead Developer role with fantastic long-term potential, as well as excellent benefits: bonus, 15% pension, private healthcare, and much more. You’ll work on a hybrid basis from a central London office, spending approx. 2 days per week in the office.

They run a full Microsoft stack for enterprise tooling and are investing in PowerApps and Copilot to further collaboration and efficiency in the business. As a M365 Infrastructure Engineer, you will sit within the Digital Workplace team and operate as the Tech Owner for key Microsoft 365 products. You will aid the support team and serve as a technical escalation point for any issues relating to M365 and its applications. You will also work proactively on projects and improvements to further expand the capability of the tools within the business. You will be the final point of escalation for any issues relating to the M365 tools, before needing to go to the supplier. A background in Infrastructure or Application support would be advantageous.
