The Role

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead critical projects within a highly regulated, operational technology (OT) environment.

This role sits within a national infrastructure programme focusing on OT projects, working in a structured, waterfall delivery environment, supporting systems such as SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and other OT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver IT projects within an OT / SCADA / utilities environment using waterfall methodology
  • Manage full project lifecycle: planning, execution, delivery, and reporting
  • Take ownership of risk mitigation, governance, and compliance processes
  • Oversee budget and financial management across projects
  • Coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Navigate complex regulatory frameworks and ensure adherence to standards

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager
  • Strong background delivering projects in Operational Technology (OT) environments
  • Risk management and mitigation experience
  • Budget ownership and financial tracking
  • Managing diverse stakeholder groups across technical and operational teams
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments with significant governance
