A well-established, purpose-driven membership organisation is undergoing a major technology transformation and is seeking a forward-thinking Infrastructure Manager to lead its infrastructure team through this journey. This is a key leadership role, and offers the chance to shape modern, cloud-first IT operations from the ground up.

As Infrastructure Manager, you'll oversee a team and be responsible for delivering a stable, secure, and future-ready infrastructure estate. Furthermore, you'll help drive the shift from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions and support a significant technology strategy rollout.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the migration from Citrix Workspace to Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Managing day-to-day infrastructure operations including storage, hosting, networking, devices, and cloud
  • Contributing to the discovery and delivery of a long-term cloud migration roadmap
  • Addressing technical debt and improving patching, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes
  • Managing a mixed estate of Windows, Mac, and some iOS devices

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a hands-on infrastructure leader who brings:

  • Strong experience managing hybrid and cloud environments (especially Microsoft/Azure)
  • Proven ability to lead and develop long-tenured teams through significant change
  • A confident, mature leadership style with the ability to operate in ambiguous or evolving environments
  • Experience in on-prem to cloud migrations and infrastructure modernisation projects
  • Understanding of licensing, vendor management, and technical strategy alignment
