Power BI Developer - (Remote role)

Key Objectives
Utilise the Power BI stack to transform business requirements and complex data into streamlined and robust data models and effective visualisations. Deliver an optimal user experience and lead users to actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End BI Solutions: Capture, design, and implement BI solutions using Power BI.
- Data Integration: Connect and join diverse data sources to establish optimised data models.
- Insightful Visualisations: Create user-tailored data visualisations to facilitate insight.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Determine requirements by interacting with business stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work with technical and non-technical team members, including clients, business analysts, and data engineers.
- Troubleshooting: Address data and Power BI-related issues and maintain PBI infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proficient with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Expertise in data modelling
- Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query M Code
- Experience with MSSQL - full training can be provided
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, motivated, and curious with a focus on continuous improvement
If you also have these skills we would love to know….
- Knowledge of Power BI admin portal
- Familiarity with Power BI capacity management
- Exposure to Data Integration / ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory
- Understanding of Version Control Systems and basic knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience or a strong interest in AI and machine learning relating to data analytics (Power BI AI Visuals, Microsoft 365 Copilot or Azure OpenAI
