This is a Fixed Term role for 18 months and will be based in Central London. There is a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week.

In this high‑impact role, the Workday Transformation Project Manager will support the Programme Director in driving the end‑to‑end Workday transformation. You will coordinate multi‑stream project delivery, ensure a strong delivery framework is in place, and oversee the smooth transition from programme deployment into a sustainable business‑as‑usual Workday environment.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex delivery settings, enjoys senior stakeholder engagement, and has a strong understanding of both transformation and operational HR service models.

The Workday Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for:

Workday Programme Delivery

  • Manage day‑to‑day delivery across functional, technical, data, integration, testing and change workstreams
  • Maintain and track integrated project plans aligned to programme priorities
  • Prepare materials for governance, steering committees, and decision‑making forums

Programme Controls & Quality Assurance

  • Operate delivery controls including RAID logs, financial tracking, milestone reporting, and quality checks
  • Coordinate testing phases and support release planning, cutover preparation, readiness activities, and deployment

BAU Workday Team Support

  • Provide operational leadership to the BAU Workday team during the transformation period
  • Balance BAU service needs with project demands to maintain continuity
  • Assist with knowledge transfer and capability uplift within the support team

Transition to the New Support Model

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and handover of the future Workday support operating model
  • Ensure effective handover of configuration, reporting, integrations, and documentation
  • Support post‑go‑live stabilisation and service management setup, including KPIs and SLAs

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

  • Act as a key delivery interface between business stakeholders, Workday SMEs, and implementation partners
  • Provide clear, timely progress reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Support communications relating to risks, progress, and upcoming milestones

To be successful, the Workday Transformation Project Manager will have the following experience:

  • Proven experience project managing Workday programmes
  • Strong project management experience across multi‑stream delivery environments
  • Experience supporting senior leaders through major transformations
  • Strong understanding of BAU operations and service transition
  • Any experience of working with Workday SIs would be a bonus
  • Experience of Workday modules or functional experience would also be a benefit

Your work will directly contribute to building a support model capable of sustaining a modern, transformed Workday platform. If you're energised by transformation, enjoy shaping new ways of working, and want to help deliver a major people‑technology programme, we'd love to hear from you.

The salary and package is competitive and we can discuss this in detail directly.
