A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major multi‑year Attack Surface Reduction Programme, focused on reducing ransomware risk and strengthening cyber‑resilience across the enterprise. This is a highly visible role requiring strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a long‑term cyber security programme with a focus on reducing attack surface and ransomware exposure.
  • Define and document business requirements across security workstreams.
  • Conduct As‑Is and To‑Be process mapping, gap analysis and workflow design.
  • Develop and track remediation plans.
  • Build and refine operating procedures around monitoring, detection, and response.
  • Contribute to upcoming workflow improvements using ServiceNow.
  • Produce dashboards and reporting – Power BI experience advantageous.
  • Work closely with an existing BA and report to the Senior Cyber Programme Manager.
  • Manage stakeholders confidently across a large, complex organisation.
  • Operate as a self‑starter with minimal hand‑holding.

Experience Required

  • Background in cyber security programmes or large‑scale technology transformation.
  • Strong business analysis skills across requirements, processes, and documentation.
  • Experience in enterprise‑level projects with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Power BI/reporting skills beneficial.
  • Confident communicator with strong presence and gravitas.
