We’re looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to join a well-known retail brand, taking ownership of a key data initiative focused on helping the business make better use of its customer and commercial data.

This is a business-facing delivery role rather than a hands-on technical position. You’ll act as the bridge between senior stakeholders and an external data delivery partner, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and that the business is able to unlock greater value from its data.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the delivery of data-focused projects across the business.
• Manage and challenge a third-party data partner to ensure successful delivery.
• Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand priorities and requirements.
• Improve how business data is governed, accessed and consumed.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and keep projects on track.
• Drive clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with

• Experience within the Retail industry
• Experience delivering data-focused projects or programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers or delivery partners.
• The ability to understand data concepts and communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Previous experience within retail, ecommerce or a customer-focused environment would be highly desirable.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
