Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager

Up to £585/day (inside IR35)

London/Sheffield travel – 2x per week

We are representing an instantly recognisable household name at a time of major transformation and modernisation. This is a complex logistics organisation that’s looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager who thrives in large, enterprise-scale environments and can hit the ground running.

As the Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be working on an integral project within the Cloud Excellence programme. The project involves a number of Operational System Upgrades that are blocking ongoing security patching and the remediation of ‘Cloud Blockers’ to facilitate migration of these applications from on-prem to the Cloud.

You will also have the opportunity to upgrade legacy infrastructure an decommission legacy Domains to protect existing business capabilities, ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and operational.

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience working on infrastructure and Cloud focused projects – specifically on-prem to Cloud migrations
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including security, networking, servers, storage, data centres, etc
  • Exposure to a multi/hybrid cloud environment – ideally Azure
  • Experience within enterprise-scale, complex organisations
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to ongoing changes

It would be a bonus if you had:

  • Previous experience within logistics, supply chain, retail or similar
