We’re supporting an organisation embarking on a significant technology transformation and are looking for an experienced Head of IT Service Improvement to join on a two-year fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Director of Information Services, you’ll act as a trusted delivery partner, leading a portfolio of strategic IT service improvement initiatives that strengthen operational resilience, improve service maturity and support long-term technology transformation.

You’ll lead initiatives including:

• ITIL 4 and IT Service Management improvement
• Cyber Security enhancement
• IT Disaster Recovery and Operational Resilience
• Supplier rationalisation and MSP transition
• Service governance and continual improvement
• Target Operating Model development
• Infrastructure and technology modernisation

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll bring structure, pace and hands-on delivery to complex change programmes while ensuring improvements are embedded and deliver lasting value.

About You

We’re looking for someone with experience delivering large-scale IT service improvement and transformation programmes, including:

• IT Service Management (ITIL)
• Infrastructure transformation
• Cyber Security
• Disaster Recovery
• Supplier and vendor management
• IT operating model or service improvement initiatives
• Executive stakeholder management
• Delivery within complex or regulated environments

You’ll be equally comfortable challenging constructively, influencing senior stakeholders and rolling your sleeves up to drive delivery.
