Delivery Manager (SC Clearance or Clearable)

Up to £605 per day (Inside IR35)
6-month initial contract
Reading (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite)

We are working with a newly established engineering organisation at the forefront of a major international aerospace and defence programme. Backed by some of the world’s leading aerospace companies, the business is responsible for developing next-generation digital engineering capabilities that will shape the future of complex defence systems. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in a long-term transformation programme.

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the planning and delivery of capability demonstrations across a complex Digital Engineering environment. You’ll work with engineering, IT and business stakeholders to showcase new technologies, validate technical solutions and drive adoption across a highly collaborative programme.

We are looking for:

• Experience delivering technical projects or programmes within the aerospace or defence sector
• Current SC Clearance, or eligibility to obtain it
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and technology teams
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering environments, systems integration, technical demonstrations or complex IT platforms
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

It would be a bonus if you have:

• Experience with Digital Thread, systems integration or interoperability testing
• Knowledge of middleware technologies such as APIs, message brokers or event-driven architectures
• Exposure to innovation, proof of concepts or emerging engineering technologies
