Business Systems Manager - Inside IR35 contract up to 6 months

We are looking for a seasoned Business Systems Manager with deep understanding in ResourceLink (Zellis HCM) to support a prominent London-based client. This is a contract role up to 6 months, offering a hybrid setup with two days onsite per week.

You'll be joining the Enterprise Systems function, reporting into the Head of Enterprise Systems. In this role, you'll lead a team of analysts and developers while taking full ownership of the HR systems portfolio-driving stability, scalability, and performance in line with the organisation's strategic priorities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the enhancement and day-to-day management of ResourceLink (Zellis HCM) and associated systems.
  • Ensuring timely and effective 2nd & 3rd line support for business critical applications.
  • Overseeing system upgrades, configurations, and integrations-from planning through to roll-out.
  • Partnering with teams across the organisation to ensure systems are aligned with business goals and drive process improvement.
  • Identifying areas for automation, efficiency gains, and improved user engagement.
  • Upholding high standards for data protection, governance, and compliance.
  • Managing and mentoring a specialist team-encouraging performance, learning, and innovation.
  • Maintaining system documentation, operational procedures, and training resources.

What You'll Bring:

  • Solid hands-on experience with ResourceLink (Zellis HCM), especially in system configuration and technical support.
  • A track record of successfully managing complex enterprise systems within large organisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and a strategic mindset around enterprise systems.
  • A strong grasp of data security, compliance, and service management frameworks like ITIL.
  • Proven leadership in both managing internal teams and working with third-party vendors.
  • A forward-thinking approach to automation and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Bonus points for formal project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) and experience with IT best practices.
