Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Infrastructure Projects - Agile / Waterfall

6 month contract

Umbrella rate £550 - £600 p/d

2 days a week onsite in Hampshire

We are working with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a variety of infrastructure-focused initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a complex delivery environment where both Agile and Waterfall methodologies coexist, and where JIRA is a key tool in project tracking and reporting.

Example Projects:

  • Decommissioning legacy systems such as Lotus Notes and delivering replacement solutions
  • Operating system decommissioning and infrastructure upgrades
  • Server capacity planning and optimisation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project lifecycle management - planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Leading Agile ceremonies and adapting delivery approach based on project needs
  • Managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple suppliers
  • Engaging and updating senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues
  • Using JIRA extensively for backlog management, sprint planning, and reporting

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies and experience delivering within hybrid Agile/Waterfall models
  • Hands-on experience using JIRA for managing delivery pipelines
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and third-party vendors
