Solution Architect - Infrastructure

Initial 6 month contract - c£650 a day inside IR35

Bedfordshire - 2 days a week onsite

We are partnered with a client in the Home Counties who is embarking on a major Digital Transformation roadmap. This will modernise their legacy systems and play a crucial role in the transformation of both their IT and operating systems. With a strong focus on automation, improving processes, and leveraging data, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on their evolving digital landscape.

Role Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and support the transition from a Citrix-based VDI environment to modern desktop and application delivery models.

Specific Skills Required:

  • Strong experience working in a customer-centric environment, with a focus on designing infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft Technologies
  • Support migration from Citrix VDI to cloud-based or hybrid end-user computing solutions.
  • Expertise in ensure designs are secure, scalable, and resilient.
  • Proven ability to work with delivery and operational teams to ensure smooth transition into BAU.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft infrastructure platforms (Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune).
  • Practical experience with Citrix VDI environments and alternative EUC strategies.
  • Strong understanding of resilience, security, and operational handover requirements.
  • Ability to design pragmatic solutions in real-world, operational environments
