IT Systems Administrator, Active Directory Administration - 2nd Line Support

1 day a week onsite in London

Umbrella contract up to £300 p/d

3 months with scope to extend

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support our client's IT infrastructure by managing user access, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Active Directory (AD) administration and Azure user management, providing essential support to ensure smooth identity and access management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Directory Administration - Manage user accounts, security groups, and organizational units (OUs).
  • Mail Group Management - Create and maintain email distribution lists and security groups.
  • Azure Permissions Management - Add and modify user permissions within Azure Active Directory.
  • Access Control & Security - Ensure users have the correct level of access and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Incident Resolution (2nd Line Support) - Troubleshoot and resolve straightforward tickets escalated from the Service Desk.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance - Support the health and security of AD and Azure AD environments.
  • User & Group Policies - Implement and enforce security best practices and access controls.
  • Backup & Recovery Support - Assist with AD backup and disaster recovery processes.
