Oracle Cloud HCM & Payroll Solution Architect
£900 - £1000 a day (inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM & Payroll Solution Architect to lead architecture design across a complex enterprise transformation programme migrating from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
This is a critical role responsible for architecting the HCM, HR Helpdesk and Payroll solution landscape, ensuring scalable enterprise design, robust integration architecture, secure data structures, and successful payroll migration.
The programme is large-scale, multi-workstream, and business-critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for:
- Core HCM
- HR Helpdesk
- Oracle Cloud Payroll
- Define enterprise structures (Legal Entities, Business Units, LDGs, Positions, etc.)
- Architect payroll design including elements, balances, costing and retro processing
- Lead EBS → Fusion data migration strategy including balance conversion
- Define integration architecture using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Oversee HDL-based data migration strategy
- Design role-based security and payroll data access controls
- Provide architecture governance and design authority leadership
- Support payroll parallel run and reconciliation strategy
- Collaborate with Finance, Security, Integration and Data teams
- Produce high-quality solution design documentation
Essential Experience
- 8+ years Oracle experience with strong EBS and Cloud background
- Proven experience as Solution Architect on at least one large Oracle Cloud transformation
- Deep expertise in:
- Oracle Fusion HCM
- Oracle Fusion Payroll
- HR Helpdesk architecture
- Hands-on experience migrating from Oracle EBS to Fusion HCM
- Payroll balance conversion experience (critical)
- Strong HDL data migration knowledge
- Experience designing integrations using OIC
- Strong understanding of Fusion security model (RBAC, data roles, payroll security)
Highly Desirable
- Multi-country payroll implementation experience
- Large enterprise (10k+ employees) programme experience
- UK or US payroll legislative knowledge
- Experience integrating payroll with Finance and external providers
- Experience operating within Design Authority governance models
