Solution Architect (Designer) - Operational Technology

£600 - £700 per day Inside IR35

6 month contract with a view to extend

Hampshire - Hybrid - 2x days per week in office

We are looking for a brilliant Solution Designer to join a market leading organisation within the energy sector. With over 85 years of experience behind them, this well-established company owns and manages critical national infrastructure and is engaging in a forward funded futureproofing program with enormous potential for growth.

The Solution Designer will have a good working knowledge of Operational Technology, particularly SCADA systems, who will work with the Architecture and Business Solutions teams to provide end to end solution designs. This position will be critical in leading the development of solution architecture for OT systems, with a strong emphasis on advancing OT Enterprise Response and Recovery (ERR) capabilities.

Key skills that you will need:

  • Experience in producing high level and/or detailed designs for projects
  • Experience of working with operationally deployed technologies/OT, for example, security of IoT sensors, Edge Computing, Remote Terminal Units, SCADA systems
  • Familiarity with OT Enterprise Response and Recovery (ERR) principles and strategies for ensuring operational resilience.
