The journey so far

As a founding member and Director of TRIA, I have been lucky enough to establish a business with two of the most prolific, talented, and successful recruiters in the industry. We set up TRIA with the ethos of good relationships, hard work and offering a truly personalised, niche and delivery focused service to our amazing clients in the Tech and Digital space.  We aren’t here to reinvent the wheel, but in a competitive and crowded marketplace it’s brilliant to see our reputation and the TRIA brand grow, developing in line with our strategy. It’s been an amazing journey so far, from the initial concept around a dinner table to our launch in 2015 and to what we are today, with a few lows and plenty of highs along the way.

Why TRIA?

We set up TRIA with a ton of enthusiasm, excitement, drive and plenty of fear as to what we were going into. It was definitely out of our comfort zone but I’d go back and do it again in a heartbeat. We wanted to create a business solely centred around great relationships. Great relationships with our clients, where we meet with them as often as they’d like, consult back to them on the market and map out effective recruitment solutions in a collaborative way, more often than not leading to our clients retaining us on an exclusive basis. Also, great relationships with our staff who are TRIA’s number one asset and the reason why we are here today. Fairness, generous reward and clearly defined career paths are at the centre of everything we do, and we work extremely hard to keep the TRIA culture and collaborative approach.

Your favourite part of the job?

One of the things I really enjoy is the fact that no two days are the same in my role, from day-to-day operations, supplier management, consulting to clients, business development and recruiting new members to the TRIA family. I get real reward in seeing our employees come into the TRIA environment, having chosen us over many great recruitment businesses and seeing them fulfil their goals and ambitions, challenging themselves, growing their careers and hopefully having a lot of fun along the way.

Hobbies & Interests

Outside of work, I have my hands full with our two small children Henry and Arabella who are both showing a keen interest in becoming recruiters, watch out 2038!  Also our newest member of the family is ‘Teddy’ a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves constant attention. I’m a huge Formula 1 fan having been to many races around the world and generally interested in fast cars. I also enjoy all the amazing restaurants in and around Bristol and keeping fit in the gym.
