Sarah Kennedy

I began my career in technology staffing back in 1994 in Birmingham. After a few years I then relocated to Bristol and worked for a consultancy in Business Development. I was then recruited by a national IT recruitment start-up and enjoyed many successful years working.  After the birth of my two children, I began to work part-time and eventually decided that I wanted to be around more for my kids and decided to take time away from the industry. I recently felt maybe it was time to put feelers out about a more permanent return to the workplace – originally planned for in 2020 – but Covid had other ideas!  So, although postponed by two years, I joined TRIA in 2022!

Having worked with Lara (and Andy Bamford) at two previous companies, TRIA seemed an obvious company to approach.   Having been out of the recruitment world as I knew it for a long time I was apprehensive, however, as soon as I met David, Harriet and several other senior members of the TRIA Team I had a strong sense that I would enjoy working with them and also that there was a great culture at TRIA that meant there it was a company that allowed the flexibility to work hard but also fit in life outside of work.    

The sense of satisfaction derived from having successfully helped someone move to the next stage of their career and find a role that fits their career and personal aspirations, as well has having found the right person for a client.  

Sports fan - as both participant and spectator, supporter/taxi driver for my kids, animals (especially dogs and horses), love to travel!!!
