We are excited to announce that TRIA has joined the
Bristol Women in Business Charter! (BWIBC)
As a tech recruitment agency who are committed to achieving gender equality and empowering women in the workplace, we are working to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for our employees, clients, and candidates. Joining the BWIBC is an important step in this journey for us, and we look forward to collaborating with like-minded businesses to help create a better future for women in tech.
Who are BWIBC?
The BWIBC was launched by the Women in Business Task Group, a group of volunteers and part of the Bristol Women’s Commission in March 2019. The Charter’s ambition is to help facilitate change that will benefit women, the businesses they work and the communities where they live. You can read their Impact Report for 2022
here.
As a tech recruitment agency, we recognise that the gender imbalance in the tech industry is a significant issue. According to a study by PwC, only 15% of employees in the UK tech industry are female, and only 5% of leadership positions are held by women. By working with the BWIBC, we hope to help make a positive impact on these statistics and support women in tech to achieve their full potential.
Joining BWIBC is an essential step for us in our plans towards creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace. We are committed to promoting gender equality, inclusivity, and female empowerment in the tech industry, and we believe that working with other like-minded businesses is the best way to achieve this. We can’t wait to see where this takes us, helping TRIA and our clients to drive positive change in the tech industry and create a brighter future for women in tech.
