We’re supporting a growing technology consultancy that delivers complex engineering, cyber and digital transformation programmes across the National Security sector.

As demand for their Security capability continues to grow, they’re looking to recruit a Security Consultant/ Architect to join an established team working on highly secure, missioncritical programmes. This is an opportunity to influence the design and delivery of secure systems from concept through to live service, working alongside experienced consultants and technical specialists.

Due to the nature of the work, you’ll need to hold, UK SC or Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.

The Headlines

You’ll work directly with customers, technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are Secure by Design, balancing business requirements with technical risk while contributing to some of the UK’s most technically challenging security programmes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing secure solutions across the full system lifecycle
• Producing security architecture documentation and technical designs
• Conducting technical security and risk assessments
• Working closely with customers to understand requirements and translate them into secure solutions
• Leading technical workshops and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Supporting engineering teams to embed Secure by Design principles throughout delivery
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, resilient systems

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working as a Security Architect or in a similar cyber security role
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles
• Experience producing security architecture and technical design documentation
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and communicating findings to technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working across complex IT, cloud or engineering environments
• CISSP, CISM or another recognised cyber security certification (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

• Experience working within Defence or National Security
• TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture frameworks
• Consultancy experience
• Knowledge of secure systems engineering and assurance
• Current UK SC OR Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance
