2nd Line IT Support

Location: On site at the office in the City of London

Rate: £225-£250 per day outside of IR35

Type: 3-month contract (could potentially extend)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days in the office per week

I’m seeking an experienced, technically minded, and reliable 2nd Line IT Support professional to work for my client, a legal tech consultancy.

Your role as 2nd Line IT Support

  • You will support the timely onboarding, deployment, and IT setup for new hires (both software and hardware)
  • You will support new hires with any requests and/or problems, and ensure new laptops, headsets, etc. are successfully up and running
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and onsite assistance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues at the first point of contact where possible
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while managing incidents, service requests, and escalations

Key requirements for 2nd Line IT Support

  • Full and proven knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Intune
  • Hold timely issue resolution, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to urgent requests and escalations in a corporate IT environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of IP networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, and general networking principles
