Location: Sheffield (2-3 days onsite)

Duration: 6 months+

Rate: TBC, approx. £650-750/day inside IR35

This contract will see the Head of Infrastructure / Senior Infrastructure Manager join an enterprise scale organisation at a time of major transformation. It’s a great opportunity to make a significant contribution in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The Head of Infrastructure / Senior Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Own the operational delivery of Network and Infrastructure services, ensuring stability, availability and performance

• Provide strong technical leadership across enterprise network, compute, storage, and infrastructure platforms

• Lead BAU service management, incident resolution and problem management

• Drive delivery of infrastructure programmes and projects

• Support technology transformation initiatives and roadmap delivery

• Manage suppliers and service partners against agreed SLAs

• Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents

• Work closely with Architecture, Engineering, Security and Service Operations teams to align priorities and delivery outcomes

• Ensure infrastructure services remain secure, resilient, compliant and fit for future business needs

• Balance operational excellence with strategic change

Essential Experience

• Strong technical background in enterprise networking and infrastructure

• Proven experience running large-scale BAU operations and service delivery

• Demonstrable track record delivering infrastructure projects and transformation programmes

• Experience managing third-party suppliers and multi-vendor environments

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• ITIL service management experience preferred

The successful Head of Infrastructure / Senior Infrastructure Manager will be technically credible, and comfortable operating in complex environments undergoing change. You’ll be pragmatic, proactive, and results-oriented.
