initail 6-Month Contract – £570 a day (inside IR35)

Fareham – 3 Days Onsite per Week

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the transformation team of a large energy / utilities organisation, supporting a busy programme of change across the organisation’s Data function.

There is a significant amount of change underway, with several new capabilities and workstreams being established and the organisation needs a strong Project Manager to bring structure, governance and delivery discipline across them.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a number of workstreams, working closely with Data SMEs and Data Architects and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, resources are planned and agreed deliverables are achieved.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing projects/workstreams through the full project lifecycle.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinating resources and supporting resource/capacity planning.
• Managing dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Working closely with SMEs, Architects and technical teams to drive delivery.
• Establishing and maintaining strong project governance.
• Managing RAID, actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Holding stakeholders accountable for agreed actions and deadlines.
• Identifying blockers and proactively driving their resolution.
• Providing clear and concise progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Managing competing priorities within a fast-moving and evolving environment.
• Ensuring projects remain focused on agreed outcomes, timelines and deliverables.

About You

We’re looking for a confident, delivery-focused Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership and driving activity forward.

You’ll have:

• Proven experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and dependency management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong governance and reporting experience, including RAID management.
• The confidence to challenge stakeholders and hold SMEs and delivery teams accountable.
• Experience coordinating resources and managing competing priorities.
• A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to bring structure to a complex environment.
• The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We’re interested in strong Project Managers from a range of backgrounds who can demonstrate a track record of delivering projects and bringing structure and accountability to complex environments.

You will be required to work onsite in Fareham 3 days a week
