We are looking for a CRM Data Migration Lead to own the end-to-end migration of data from three complex legacy systems into a new Salesforce CRM. This role sits within a major transformation programme and requires someone who has previously defined, planned, and executed a full data migration strategy for a large CRM implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the data migration workstream within the wider CRM programme.
- Define and deliver the data migration strategy and detailed plan.
- Work with our implementation partner on data selection, cleansing rules, mapping, and transformation logic.
- Conduct multiple dry runs and ensure thorough testing at each stage.
- Tackle messy, low-quality legacy data and apply robust governance for what transfers to the new CRM
- Translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders and operate effectively within a matrix organisation.
- Turn the overarching data strategy into a realistic, deliverable migration plan.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success leading at least one CRM data migration end-to-end.
- Strong technical data migration expertise
- Data engineering and/or PM background beneficial.
- Comfortable working with complex, inconsistent data sources.
- Skilled at stakeholder engagement in environments with slower or complex decision-making.
- Ability to articulate what data to migrate, how to migrate it, and when
- Knowledge/experience of Salesforce is advantageous but not essential
