DBA / Database Developer
Up to £50,000 | Remote (UK)
We’re partnering with an established organisation looking to hire a DBA / Database Developer to join their in-house technology team.
This is a hybrid role combining database administration and advanced SQL development, working on high-impact systems that support business-critical applications and data-driven decision making.
Key responsibilities
* Design and optimise SQL Server database architecture
* Develop high-performance T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, functions)
* Diagnose and resolve performance issues, query optimisation and indexing
* Manage SQL Server administration, monitoring and upgrades
* Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
* Build and maintain ETL processes (SSIS)
What we’re looking for
✔ Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
✔ Advanced T-SQL and query optimisation skills
✔ Experience with performance tuning, indexing and execution plans
✔ Knowledge of high availability solutions (Always On, replication, log shipping)
✔ Experience with SSIS / ETL workflows
